Try these places if you need somewhere to stay in the Peak District. For our Peak District rock climbing courses we use the eastern gritstone edges around the village of Hathersage. Our navigation courses use the Kinder plateau above the village of Edale and the high ground around the Derwent valley.

Comments: Good hostel on main road in centre of Hathersage. Good location for climbing on Eastern Edges - particularly Stanage, Froggat and Burbage. Good selection of pubs and restaurants in village.

Comments: Well-regarded pub for food and accomodation. Excellent location for rock climbing. Very close to the Eastern Edges. Hathersage is a small village at the edge of the dark peak with plenty of amenities.
