Try these places if you need somewhere to stay in
Snowdonia. Many of our courses use the Ogwen Valley and we sometimes use
the Llanberis pass and may venture down to Tremadog if the weather's bad
in the mountains. The
village of Capel Curig is two miles from the Ogwen valley. Nant Peris is five miles and
Llanberis six miles.
Very good location with easy access to the Llanberis
Pass or Ogwen Valley.

Nice site directly opposite the Vaynol Arms pub.
Washrooms, toilets and showers. Couple of miles walk into LLanberis.
In the Nant Gwynant between Capel Curig and Pen y
Pass. This is where Mallory and the early British Everest teams
stayed whilst preparing and there's some great old mountaineering
memorabilia around the place. Perhaps a bit too traditional for some
tastes. Don't take credit cards.
