"Dear Jules. I want to say how much I enjoyed the navigation
course yesterday. The instruction was excellent and I learned so
much. I am now dying to get back to Kinder to practice!"

"Hi Jules. Many thanks for the course notes - they look
fantastic and I'll be swotting up on them before I go out walking again
this weekend. I thought the course was brilliant - an excellent day and it
was exactly what I needed. I now feel confident in not only using a map
and compass but using the techniques you taught me to be able to plan
routes etc."

For 2008 we are offering an eclectic mix of hillwalking courses. For
hillwalkers, confident navigation adds
greatly to the satisfaction of a mountain day and we offer plenty of
options depending on your level. Our Introduction to Navigation Day aims to provide people with the
basic skills of map and compass. If you are looking to explore the higher
mountains of the UK or want to expand your experience into winter, alpine or rock climbing, an organised and
practised system of navigation is essential. Our Intermediate Navigation
Day focuses on fine-tuning your navigation toolkit and adds a whole new
set of advanced skills. By the end of the day your navigation will be more
efficient and reliable than ever. Finally, if you like a
challenge why not join us in June for a round of the Welsh three-thousanders?
The route takes in the summits of the highest mountains in Wales and ranks
as one of the great mountain journeys of the UK.
