"Thank you so much once again for an excellent introduction to rock climbing. The pace of the course, choice of crags and patience were perfect for both of us. Simply great experience all round and couldn't recommend you any higher Jules." Kevin, Sussex

"The course was geared to our knowledge and standard. The instruction was clear and understandable and stressed the importance of safety. Jules made sure we understood by asking questions of us. It was one thing we both commented on, the quality and energy of the instruction." Gordon, Rugby

The course was pitcthed at the perfect level. Can't fault the quality of instruction. Jules' instruction was great, informative and also fun. Gary's was equally as good I thought on the Sunday. It was a superb weekend! Doug, Glasgow

"Good crag selection and climbing difficulty allowed me to concentrate on gear placement and the instruction being given without having to worry about the rock condition or the route ahead. I liked the way that gear placement was discreetly supervised with helpful suggestions on gear placement allowing me to gain confidence without feeling I was being watched or judged." Jon, Swindon

"The Introduction to Rock Climbing course was excellent. The instruction was really good and everything was easy to remember and explained in simple terms. All the equipment was top notch and in perfect condition." Debs, Hull

Whether you're an absolute beginner or hardcore cragrat we've got a climbing programme to suit you. We're super-passionate about climbing - and sharing our experience, skills and enthusiasm with others. We work throughout the UK; allowing us to stage our courses in the ideal place - Snowdonia, the Peak District, the Lake District or Scotland. We decided Wales and the Peak District would be best for our introductory courses. In Wales you can learn the basics on a roadside crag and then climb a big mountain route with an instructor the following day. Our instructors always have an intimate knowledge of the area that they're working in and will find the best conditions regardless of the weather.

Introduction to Rock Climbing (Peak District)

The gritstone edges of the Peak Distict are a great place to launch your climbing career. During this weekend you will get to grips with the fundamentals of climbing and importantly, spend plenty of time actually climbing immaculate gritstone on some of the country's most famous crags. During the weekend we look at equipment selection, ropework, climbing technique, traditional climbing and bouldering. By the end of the weekend you'll have all the skills to climb safely with an experienced climber as a competent second.
