Cancellation by the customer
If a customer needs to cancel they must send the cancellation in writing by either post or email. We will acknowledge the cancellation within 5 days of receiving it. The customer will be charged on the following basis:
- 20% of course fee where cancellation takes place more than eight weeks prior to the start of the course.
- 60% of course fee where cancellation takes place in the period eight weeks prior to the start of the course and the start of the course.
- 100% of course fee where cancellation takes place on or after the start of the course.

Cancellation by Orion Mountaineering
Every effort is made to ensure that booked courses run. Where a course has to be cancelled due to dangerous or unsuitable conditions customers can choose to receive a full refund or a place on an alternative course.

Young People
All clients must be over 18 years of age unless accompanied by a parent / guardian.

Safety
Participants accept that bookings are made on the grounds that Orion Mountaineering safety regulations are observed.
Participants accept that Orion Mountaineering is under no liability whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property, not caused by negligence or default of Orion Mountaineering.
Participation in adventurous activities entails some risk of injury. Orion Mountaineering staff are trained and appropriately qualified to run activity sessions and will at all times proceed in a manner to limit the risk of injury. However, participants accept that accidents and injury may occur.
